ପ୍ରଥମେ ମୃତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ପ୍ରମାଣପତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ ଓ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଓଡିଶ ପୋର୍ଟାଲ (ବିରଥଡେଅଥ.ଓଡିଶ.ଗୋବ.ଇନ) ରୁ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରନ୍ତୁ। ଏହା ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ ପ୍ରମାଣପତ୍ର ପାଇଁ ବାଧ୍ୟତାମୂଳକ।First obtain the death certificate of the deceased from Birth & Death Odisha portal (birthdeath.odisha.gov.in). This is mandatory for the legal heir certificate.

ସମସ୍ତ ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ଆଧାର କାର୍ଡ, ରାସନ କାର୍ଡ/ପରିବାର ରେଜିଷ୍ଟର, ସମ୍ପର୍କ ପ୍ରମାଣ ଓ ସ୍ୱଘୋଷଣାପତ୍ର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରନ୍ତୁ।Prepare Aadhaar cards of all legal heirs, ration card/family register, relationship proof, and self-declaration/affidavit.
ତହସିଲ/ଏସଡିଏମ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ଆବେଦନ କରନ୍ତୁApply at Tahasil/SDM Office

ଆପଣଙ୍କ ନିକଟତମ ତହସିଲ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ବା ଏସଡିଏମ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ ପ୍ରମାଣପତ୍ର ପାଇଁ ଆବେଦନ ଦାଖଲ କରନ୍ତୁ। ସମସ୍ତ ଡକ୍ୟୁମେଣ୍ଟ ସହ ଆବେଦନ ଫର୍ମ ଭରନ୍ତୁ। ଏ-ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପୋର୍ଟାଲ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆବେଦନ କରିପାରିବେ।Submit application for legal heir certificate at your nearest Tahasil or SDM office. ଯାଞ୍ଚ ଓ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନVerification and Enquiry

ତହସିଲଦାର/ଏସଡିଏମ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଯାଞ୍ଚ କରିବେ। ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀ ଓ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ପ୍ରତିନିଧିଙ୍କୁ ପଚରାଯାଇପାରେ। ଏଥିରେ ୧୫-୩୦ ଦିନ ଲାଗିପାରେ।The Tahasildar/SDM will conduct local verification. Neighbours and local representatives may be consulted. This may take 15-30 days.
